Mall of Georgia to make the season bright with annual Tree Lighting on November 18

Gwinnett County’s premier shopping destination welcomes families for live entertainment, festive activities

Monday, November 13, 2017 — Ho! Ho! Ho! Mall of Georgia will deck the halls at this year’s Tree Lighting from 4-9 p.m. in The Village! The FREE celebration will feature the annual 50-foot Christmas tree lighting; a special Movie Under the Stars presentation of “The Polar Express” on a 55-foot screen; holiday activities and more! Entertainment includes a live DJ and performances from the Salvation Army Band and APA Superstars. Santa and Papa Elf will also make a special appearance to welcome the season with all the good boys and girls! Attendees are welcome to bring chairs and blankets.

Mall of Georgia is currently undergoing exciting renovations – including a newly reimaged premier dining destination called ‘The Dining Pavilion,’ as well as enhancements to The Village, the center’s outdoor entertainment area. The renovation project is anticipated to be complete in early 2018.

For guests over 21 years old, craft cocktails, beer and wine from participating restaurants, including Marlow’s Tavern, Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, P.F. Chang’s and Smokey Bones, can be enjoyed openly throughout The Village.
